Meet
Mater & Sophie
These two are very new to me. I am just learning their personalities. They are both very sweet and loving.
Mater lets start off with him because he is my favorite of the two. His oop date is August 13, 2010. He is a classic grey sugar glider. He is very sweet and loving. Once you get him out of his cage he is great. He will crawl all over you and let you pet him. He is even fine with you holding his little joeys. He does have a attitude when he is in his cage. He does not like for you to wake him up during the day. If you go to get him out of his cage he will jump out of the pouch or cage and he will bite you. He is very cage and pouch protective but once you get him out he is soo sweet. I have been working with him every day and I am just fallen in love with this little guy. I will keep every one updated on his progress. I said I would keep everyone updated on his progress so here we go. Mater got me good today(6-19-11). He is the first glider that has actually bit me. I have taken him out of his cage several times and he was so sweet once I got him out of his cage. Today was a different story. I had him out showing him off and he bit the blood out of me several times (more than ten times). I look down at my hand and thought this is not good my fingers are bleeding but that was not the worse:( He then bit down on the tip of my pinky and would not let go for nothing. It hurt so bad I wanted to scream and cry:( I had to get my husband to come help me get him off. I am so glad that I love this little dude because I sure did not like him today LOL. My finger is swollen and infected but that's ok. He has not seen the last of me. I can't wait to get him back out again.
Mater and I are doing a lot better. The last few times I got him out he did great. I have learned that I just have to give him a treat every time I get him out and than he is good. lol. He can be sooo sweet.
Sophie is just a sweetheart. Her oop date is July 21, 2010. She is a very beatiful White-Faced Blonde sugar glider. She is my first WFB female glider that I have got/kept as a pet. She loves everybody. When you go to get her out she will come right to you and she just wants to hang out with you all day. She is very trusting. She will even come out to you with her babies, as you can see in her pictures. She is a great mother. I just can't say enough about her.
